Historical profile

At Osifar, we have extensive experience in waste treatment for the benefit of our customers and the environment. This is our genesis and some important milestones:

1967: Founding of the company as a cleaning company with a vocation for environmental sustainability.

1975: Purchase of the first mixed truck in the Balearic Islands, equipped with a pressure pump and vacuum pump for emptying.

1981: Purchase of the first two pressure trucks in the Balearic Islands.

1996: Acquisition of the first special vehicle equipped with a robotic TV camera for sewer inspection.

1997: Acquisition of state-of-the-art trucks with stainless steel tanks and ADR safety systems, suitable for the transport and management of toxic and hazardous waste, obtaining management authorization from the Regional Ministry of the Environment.

1999: Purchase of the first mixed traffic jam van, equipped with a pressure pump and vacuum cleaner for emptying.

2002: Obtained ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 certifications in recognition of the quality of our work and environmental conservation and sustainability. We are the first company in the sector to receive both certifications.

2004: A logistics management software application based on an IBM platform is developed.

2006: The first recycling truck in the Balearic Islands was purchased, thus incorporating the latest technology in water utilization for sewer cleaning tasks.

Year 2007: We have a fleet consisting of 8 trucks ranging from 16 to 26 tons and 4 light vans.

Year 2008: A mixed truck with ADR safety of 18 t was acquired from the Müller company, with a movable partition and equipped with a liquid ring depressor, which is characterized by: lower noise (< 80 dB), no oil consumption and no friction of the metal parts.
